Just to add my $0.02 to this...
I agree that we first ought to look at what the new
FoundationKit is doing. In fact, it is going to greatly
impact a large chunk of the MiscKit, and I think it would
behoove all interested parties to look it over and consider
some of the implications. I haven't yet had time to digest
enough of the docs to have a good idea what I want to do, so
until I have, I won't comment much. But we need to consider
how it will impact classes like MiscString, MiscTime,
Misc[Stack/Queue], MiscStringArray and so on. Of course, I'm
interested in hearing other folks' ideas...I recommend that
they be placed here for group discussion. I suspect that
some portions of the MiscKit will require major direction
changes. Also, we have to remember that for a good while yet
a lot of people will not have the FoundationKit available...
Also, a note on the docs generation stuff that was brought up:
If you have frame, take a look at the template that is in the
MiscKit, it could be a real time saver for you. Also, I've
always thought a cleaned up version of that ManPagesFromHeaders
would make an interesting MiscKit example...if there are any
takers... :-)
